My summer internship experience at Tech Mahindra

I did my summer internship this year from June to Aug at Tech Mahindra. This internship helped me gain the corporate knowledge and how big tech companies work. It has been a great experience of three months. I worked on UI of Key cloak application and tested API for mobile OTP verification and authentication.

I was being exposed to several new methods and ideas for the first time, the first few weeks of my internship were unexpected and difficult. I lost concentration and almost quit at one point, but I am glad I did not because I had become so determined after that. During my internship, like most other interns, I also learned more about the numerous technologies involved in the product’s development. I remember attempting to set up the environment locally on the initial day of my internship. To be honest, I had only explored half of the tools and was astonished by the quantity of new phrases I learned. This opened my eyes to how client connections are maintained and how everyone has a part in preserving those ties, including us developers. Throughout my internship, my coworkers and mentor were really helpful at the workplace; they knew and respected my learning problems and so assisted me in anything I required help with. I also understood how important it was to have the entire team, including developers, testers, and sales managers, working together to ensure the effective completion of the project. Being a part of this entire journey reminded me of a statement that many of us have heard since we were children. We were all assigned roles as interns, which helped us feel more connected to the company’s objective. It helped me feel linked to the company’s work. The process also helped me how to present and engage with investors on a professional level.

To sum, it was a summer well spent, with many new things learned and worked with fellow interns. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn and understand it, and create changes and innovations that have an effect on actual customers. Without my encouraging mentor and full-time team members, my internship would have not been as interesting and memorable. It had been a pleasure to work and collaborate with other interns while also taking talks from professionals. My experience has enhanced my self-confidence while also maturing me. I have also learned the value of never quitting up and aim to use the same approach to learning.
